McNamara posing questions to Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe

In Dáil Éireann yesterday, I raised a number of issues with Minister for Finance, Paschal Donohoe, including:

A proposal to introduce some type of grant aid in place as distinct from loans, in order to act as a safety net for such businesses, especially SMEs, who face a mountain wall of debt, i.e. rent, rates, utility bills etc. Supports for employers of seasonal workers who were not in employment on 29th February. Why is the interest on Micro Finance Ireland funding set at 4.5%, when other Member States of the EU have at the interest rate at 2%? I will be taking my seat in Dáil Éireann again next Thursday. The Dáil session will be broadcast on Oireachtas TV (Saorview) and online at https://www.oireachtas.ie from midday.
