Re-opening of schools in late August

***Urgent consideration needs to be given to children with special needs as they return to education later next month.

***Parents returning to the workplace require clarity around early drop-off and homework club services at our schools.

***The right to education from minority backgrounds needs to be vindicated when schools return.

As Chair of the Oireachtas Special Committee on Covid-19 Response, I today raised these matters with officials from school principal representative groups in a discussion on the re-opening of schools.
